The Bibb, Chilton and Coosa County Chick Chain Show and Auction will be held Saturday, September 11th at the Chilton Research Extension Center, located at 120 Co Rd 756, Clanton, AL 35045. The show will begin at 9:00am and the auction will follow judging. Each participant will bring two birds to show, and we need some local farmers and chicken enthusiasts to come and purchase chickens from these amazing 4-H’ers! These kids have worked hard raising their chickens for 20 weeks to be ready to start laying. Participants will compete in categories including breed, showmanship and general knowledge. You can expect to see Golden Laced Wyandotte, Easter Egger, New Hampshire Red and White Plymouth Rock hens from across the three counties. Come and watch our Bibb County 4-H’ers show off their hard work and add to your chicken farm!
