A tragic motor vehicle accident in the early hours of Sunday morning has claimed the life of a Bibb County teenager. According to Deputy Coroner Lance Millette of Bibb County, the accident was reported at 2:25 a.m. on Sunday morning, March 28.
A vehicle driven by Tanner English of Centreville was involved in a single-vehicle accident at mile marker 40 on Highway 219 South of Centreville. Tanner’s younger brother, Patton English, age 14, a passenger in the vehicle, was found ejected from the vehicle and did not survive.
Tanner English was transported with injuries to DCH. The cause of the vehicle crash is unknown, no other vehicles were involved. The crash is under investigation.
