Bibb County voters lined up at the polls when they opened at 7 a.m. this morning. Lines formed at the Rock Building in Centreville, at the Alternative School in West Blocton and at the Fire/EMS station in Greenpond before 7 a.m. The early turnout indicates that voters are serious about getting their votes cast in this important election and wanted to be first at the polls this morning.

UPDATE: By 8:30 a.m. Probate Judge Stephanie Kemmer reported the following numbers had already voted in the Bibb precincts:

Alternative School 301

Lawley 80

Armory 226

Brent City Hall 154

Greenpond 347

Six Mile 178

Rock Building 273

Eoline 150

This is a positive sign that Bibb County voters want their voices heard in this 2020 Presidential election race. If you have not voted yet please get to the polls and vote before lines form again at the end of the day.
