The Bibb Voice will produce and moderate a live Zoom Forum featuring all of the candidates that are running for the House District 49 seat vacated by April Weaver. The replacement for former representative Weaver will be selected by the voters in a special election set by Governor Ivey on August 4, 2020.
The live event is co-sponsored by the Republican parties of Bibb, Chilton, Shelby and the Republican Women of Shelby County. In co-operation with Governor Ivey’s Safer At Home Order the candidates will appear from their computer video stream and there will be no live audience. You can view the event Live and it will be viewable on your desktop computer or Iphone/Ipad via YouTube. There is no cost to view the event but you will need a good internet connection to view the livestream. You do not need Zoom software, you only need an internet browser to connect to YouTube.
The Link to the YouTube site will be posted on this site at 6:00 p.m. on July 23. The video stream will go live at 7:00 p.m. The link will also be posted on the Bibb Voice Facebook page after 6 p.m. July 23.
