After a Friday evening meeting with Bibb County EMA Director Kirk Smith, Cahaba Medical Care, and Centreville Police Chief Rodney Smith, it was decided that a drive-thru testing center for the COVID-19 disease will be set up Saturday, March 21, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Cahaba Medical will be the lead agency in our area for testing sites. At this time there is a very limited supply of test kits available, and individuals must meet criteria to be tested.
If you believe you may have the novel coronavirus disease COVID-19, you can go to 195 Hospital Drive in Centreville at the date and time stated and be evaluated. If you meet criteria you may be able to be tested.
“I’m so grateful for the agencies we have in Bibb that are ready to go whenever they are needed!” — Kirk Smith, Bibb County EMA Director
