Did you know that we have a local organization dedicated to helping families who need assistance covering spay and neuter services for their furry friends here in Bibb County? They’re know as the “Bibb County Pet Welfare” organization, founded by Christina Perry Skrobak of Woodstock. They’ve reached out to us here at BibbVoice.com to help get the word out about what they do, and how you can help them with their goals. Towards that end, here’s a statement provided to us by Christina with more information:

We are a grass-roots organization in Bibb County, Alabama working diligently to reduce the pet overpopulation in our county, as well as the high number of animals entering the Bibb County Rabies Control Facility (the pound). Bibb County Pet Welfare (BCPW) works in conjunction with local vets to provide very affordable spay/neuter surgeries for the families of Bibb County and surrounding areas. Contact us for more info on how to have your pet spayed/neutered at a VERY affordable cost or to help your communities by donating aluminum cans to further this cause. 205-410-1003” – Christina Perry Skrobak, via Facebook.

If you’d like to learn more, you can call them at 205.410.1003 or find them on Facebook here: https://www.facebook.com/bcpwal
