Jim Byard Jr. and members of Community and Economic Development Division of ADECA toured Bibb Medical Center on Friday March 10th. They learned of the significant progress being made at this top rated rural healthcare facility.
Bibb Medical Center has created 17 new jobs in the last 18 months, provided over 200 outpatient surgical procedures, and had over 19,000 patient visits to the Emergency Department and Urgent Care Clinic. Bibb County Nursing Home has one of the Top Five lowest cost nursing homes in Alabama. Mr. Byard, who is the director of Alabama Department of Economic And Community Affairs, stated “We are hopeful for future partnerships with BMC as it continues to grow and serve the residents of Bibb County and the surrounding counties.”
