Saturday January 14th, 2017, Brent Civitan Club members Pat Matlock, John Russel, Jerry Pow, Cliff Clemens, Jerry Le Vert and Dennis Stripling all working with members of Action Civitan Club of Birmingham, Alabama were able to build a much needed wheel chair ramp for Ms. Minnie Williams of Brent, Alabama. Civitan’s Mission Statement is:
“The worldwide mission of Civitan International is to build good citizenship by providing a volunteer organization of clubs dedicated to serving individual and community needs, with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities.”
